“Marketing is the backbone of capitalism, without it you would be dead in two days”
- Schmidt (New Girl)
Growing up in Grand Junction made my answer so simple when asked where I wanted to attend college because being close to family was so important to me. For years I have been able to see Mesa State College advance and grow into what we now know as Colorado Mesa University. This showed me that I would have the chance to attend a school that would continue to grow with me, while still offering a ton of new opportunities for my college experience.
Since middle school I have always wanted to have a career in Marketing. This career path is something that will foster my creativity and never dull my social skills. I cannot wait to see where it takes me!
My Time at CMU
Alpha Sigma Alpha
When I started my freshman year, I wanted to find an organization at CMU that would allow me to meet people and experience new things. I certainly found that when I made the decision to rush a sorority. During my time in Alpha Sigma Alpha, I held multiple positions, and was apart of E-board, Panhellenic Council and Greek Council, while most importantly became a big sister. Joining the sorority has been the best decision I have ever made, and it made my college experience a thousand times better. Alpha Sigma Alpha is my second home, and I will always love my ladybugs <3

After graduation, I plan to focus on opening my own business! In my free time I have worked on bringing in a small income with my custom design business that I think has the potential to become something bigger. This also give me the freedom to make my own schedule and work from home- wherever in the world that may be! I am really excited to see what I can accomplish with!

I am so grateful for the friendships I have made at CMU. This section would be incredibly long if I listed every single person, I consider a friend, so I will mention a few of the ones who made the biggest impact.
The entire household of 2348 (Elise, Camryn, Danielle, Hannah & Morgan) for showing me the value of laughter and loyalty within friendships.
Ashton Hornick for being the listening ear who was always up for a girl’s night to talk about the recent drama, or being the best friend who is ready for the next house party. I miss you so much!
And lastly, my little, Victoria Lopez. She is the most kindhearted person I have ever known, and I am incredibly blessed to have her in my life. Her friendship has brought so much positivity and light to my world. I will forever cherish the memories we have shared and cannot wait to create many more!
